The importance of measuring your physiology means we have developed a mobile testing facility, the first of its kind in the UK! The lab contains all the same equipment you would experience in university facilities, but with the benefit that PBscience can come to you. The added convenience of us travelling to you* for lab testing is another example of how PBscience focuses the service on YOUR needs.
The mobile lab facility is a converted motorhome, so whilst ensuring we provide everything a sport science lab can offer, we are also able to offer the comfort features you would expect in such a vehicle (kitchen, bathroom, lounge area). We hope this adds to your enjoyment of the experience.
| At the centre of the mobile lab is the state of the art Wattbike. The Wattbike, the only indoor bike endorsed by British Cycling, offers highly accurate measurement of power. Linked up to a PC, this system tells us everything we need to know about your cycling performance, including average and peak power, cadence and average cadence, energy expended, distance covered. The bike is fully adjustable, ensuring we can make the experience feel as close as possible to real bike riding |
