Buying a fixed length cycle training plan is an ideal way for an athlete to train using science based principles leading up to a key event. A 12 week training plan is written based on exercise testing results to determine the optimal training zones.
£400 per 12 week plan
The process:
-
An exercise test to establish both sub-maximal (lactate threshold) and maximal (VO2 max) abilities. At this visit, you will also have an initial consultation with the sport scientist to talk about your performance aims and aspirations. The discussion will also help to provide the background on your training history and lifestyle essential to optimising the plan (the total visit is approximately 3 hours).
-
Within a week of your test, you will have a full set of your results, and a report on your physiological profile. This report will also include your training zones and all the information you need to understand how to carry out the cycle training plan.
-
After you have read the report, there may be a need for some more discussion (via phone or email). You will then receive a 12 week training programme tailored to YOUR needs and the event you are preparing for.
By purchasing a 12 week package, you will also benefit from membership of PBscience for the term of your plan:
