Sport Science and training resources |
Welcome to the PBscience resource centre!
Non-members are able to access our interactive calculators, see the PBscience calendar, as well as familiarise themselves with some sport science terminolgy using our glossary....just a sneek preview of the type of content you would be able to access if you become a service member.
PBscience subscribers can access an extensive database of resources to supplement the cycle coaching you receive and to help you get the most from your training. Please go to our Download area to access the content.

Cutting Edge blog: Unfortunately, by the time research is completed in the lab, published in the journals and then enters mainstream cycle coaching, the material is typically 4 to 5 years out of date! You won't have this problem once you sign up to PBscience and receive access to "Cutting Edge". Our team of sport scientists will be scouring the top scientific journals, filter out the articles that will impact the athlete, and interpret them for you to understand. Most importantly, we'll be highlighting the implications of the conclusions, and helping you change the way you train and perform.

Videos and tutorials: In our database exclusive to subscribers, you will find a range of videos, including laboratory tests / techniques. We believe these maximise the experience of our PBscience members. By having access to footage of the lab tests, it will help you understand the methods we use, why we test for the chosen parameters and also, perhaps alleviate pre-test anxiety if it is your first visit.

We've also spent a lot of time producing a series of video tutorials - from downloading your power output and HR training data to using your online training diary.
